2009 Season
2009 was a busy year for Race Ready Industries, as Craig prepared bikes for 3 teams in 5 championships.
Phase One Endurance: Craig spent much of his time over the winter, preparing the 2009 R1’s for the World Endurance Championship. He was also acting as chief mechanic at each race, and helping in the workshop between rounds.
Ultimate Racing Yamaha: Craig worked with Peter Hickman’s team in the British Superbike privateers cup. Assisting at the races that don’t clash with other racing commitments. Finally ending the season 2nd in the privateers cup.
RT Motorsports: Australian youngster Gareth Jones made a name for himself on the RT Motorsports 2008 Yamaha R1. Having worked extensively with the 2008 R1 it was great to work with Gareth. My role was data analyst, and together we set the bike well enough to win the 2009 Dutch Superbike championship. As well impressing in the German Superbike wild cards, enough for Gareth to be offered a factory BMW which he rode at the IDM final at Hochenheim
Aside from the racing activities, during the week Race Ready Industries works for private customers and teams, who want the best from their bikes.
