Tuning Parts

Race Ready Industries aims to provide its customers with motorcycle tuning parts that best meet the users exact requirements. Therefore I don’t simply stock LighTech or Harris products, but use the knowledge gained in superbike paddocks throughout Europe to recommend the parts that best suit your performance and budget requirements. I’m always looking around competitors’ bikes, and manufacturers’ catalogues to see what’s new, so when you want a tuning component I can provide a range of quality solutions.

Race Fairings and Bodywork: There are various companies in Europe that are producing fairings in Hungary and Slovakia at very low cost, while maintaining good quality. They come in lightweight polyester construction for around £300 a set or carbon kevlar/ carbon fibre for around £1000.  The polyester fairings come with dzuz clips already fitted and weigh about a third of what a glass fibre fairing might weigh and they are more flexible, so the gel coat doesn’t crack and fall off when you fit them. Mudguards, rear huggers, air ducts, frame protectors, and screens are also available.

Handle Bars and Rear Sets: There are many companies making these components and the quality varies widely.  Some parts are designed with no radius creating weak points, others are made from easily machinable alloys that are simply not up to the job. So I have managed to find a few companies producing quality products at a good price.  I can sell you a set of clip ons for around £130 and rear sets at around £350 and they will probably not brake in a crash.

Suspension: If you are looking to upgrade your motorcycle suspension then it’s worth getting a quote from me. I can provide a range of suspension products from Ohlins, Andreani and Marzocchi at very competitive rates. From fork cartridge kits, and steering dampers, to superbike forks and shock absorbers, all backed up with advice, servicing and spare springs as required. Ohlins TTX shock absorbers are currently around £1200 and fork cartridges can be supplied and fitted for £1150.

Brake Systems: Recently a number of new manufacturers have entered this market. Brembo and Nissin still make the best systems, but they come at a price. It is now possible to use a combination of manufacturers’ products to come up with a system that rivals the very best. For example, using a Brembo master cylinder with another manufacturer’s calliper,  yet another manufacturer’s brake pads, and another company’s remote span adjuster. However when it comes to brakes it is essential to create a safe system, so if you would like advice on improving your brakes whilst staying within a tight budget please contact me.

2D Data Logging Systems and Parts: Having worked extensively with 2D I rate it very highly and would recommend using it. It’’s easy to install and use and can be transferred between one year’s bike and the next.

YEC and HRC Kit Parts: I can provide HRC and YEC kit parts for most model years. However, if I think there are parts on the market that will do the job at a lower cost I’ll tell you.

Lightweight Wheels: I can supply light weight superbike wheels built to fit your bike, in all sizes.

Part Worn Tyres: If you need part worn tyres in 17″ or 16.5″ sizes then contact me for more information. I often see huge piles of them going to waste so it’s good to pass on the benefit.

Used Race Spares: I tend to work for several teams at a time, in two or more championships so I can generally track down used parts for most current models. If you’re looking for a set of used kit cams, a used slipper clutch or a second hand engine then I can probably find one for you. It’s a great way to buy parts as it benefits all concerned.

Custom Built Superbike Parts: Some components may need to be designed and built for your bike in particular. This has been the case for me when building endurance bikes, so I have built relationships with fabrication companies throughout the UK who specialise in this kind of work.
