2010 Season
2010 is shaping up to be the best year yet for Race Ready Industries. With a huge amount of racing that will keep me out the house most weekends between the beginning of April and mid October.
IDM
In 2010 I will once again work with Gareth Jones in the RT Motorsports team after winning the Dutch title last year. Joining Gareth is 19 year old fellow Aussie Jed Metcher, who is looking to establish himself in Europe after rising through the Australian domestic championships.
2010 will see the team using Honda CBR1000RR Fireblades in the German IDM Superbike class. My role in the team is to build and maintain the bikes in the workshops of SKM-moto a well known German tuning company who will be tuning the engines. At the track I will oversee the technical preparation of the bikes, liaise with the riders and mechanics and analyse the data in an effort to make sure that we get the best from the resources we have. Below are some pictures of the bikes.
Phase One Endurance
2010 sees Phase One scale back their efforts as they turn to more viable racing such as the Isle of Man TT and Northwest 200. However they will be present at selected endurance events, as well as classic endurance events where some of the older team members turn to the P&M Kawasaki Z1000 for more sedate and sociable kicks. I will be assisting at the TT and anything else I can attend so long as it’s not air cooled. If you want to be part of a race team I suggest you contact them.
